AIGA Urges the Obama 2012 Campaign to Reconsider Jobs Poster Contest
“…contradicts the intent of creating jobs for American workers and asks designers to give up intellectual and creative property rights.”
“ The reason you never hear the term “Starving Designer” because design has specific purpose when conceived and it benefits others. At the end of the day, this is still a business and we have to eat, pay the rent, keep the lights on and buy print toner.”
Take the time and read through the comment stream. Valid arguments either way, but my position still stands.

Sharp Design at The 305 Creative Company
The brand new website from one of my college roommates, a man without whom I would have had no idea how to launch my own web presence. Ladies and gentlemen, the graphic design of Mr. Andrew Bourne.

Tomorrow night is my sister, Kristen’s graphic design senior thesis show. Hype!
new napkin colors/modified design
I am no master with stenciling, so thank you Brendon for your time and attention to detail!
as for the book…we aren’t going to speak of that for now.
It’s ‘done’
but it’s hardcover binding is really quite, disastrous.
hopefully I can perform a miracle tomorrow, and revive it.
I am very pleased with the design, even the stitching went decently. It’s always such a hard hit, to see that your hands don’t master what you intend for them to. But I can’t fault myself for being fearless enough to attempt it. 100 page books are a different animal than 260 page books.
